Robert S. Raymar

Robert S. Raymar is a 1969 graduate of Princeton University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and a 1972 graduate of Yale University Law School, where he was an Editor of the Yale Law Journal.

Mr. Raymar served as law secretary to the Honorable Leonard I. Garth, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Raymar was Assistant Legal Counsel to the Governor of New Jersey from 1974-75. Thereafter, Mr. Raymar served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey and as a member of the New Jersey Executive Commission on Ethical Standards. He became a partner in this law firm in 1979.

Mr. Raymar was a Visiting Lecturer at the Woodrow
Wilson School of Public & International Affairs of
Princeton University during 1976 and 1977, and served
on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Institute
of Technology from 1980-82. He has served as a
Coach of the Princeton University Intercollegiate Mock
Trial Team, 2000 - 2004.

Mr. Raymar has served as a New Jersey Delegate to the
Democratic National Convention in 1972, 1984, 1992
and 1996. Mr. Raymar has been a member of the National
Executive Committee of the Yale Law School Association,
1994-99, and was twice President of the Yale Law School
Association of New Jersey 1980-81, 92-93. Has been a member
of the National Governing Council of the American Jewish Congress, 1998 - 2008, Chair of its Constitution Committee, 2007 - 2008, and has been a member of the National Board of Directors of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, 2000 - 2008. He is Chair of the Board of Directors of Somerset Hills YMCA, 2008 - present, and has been a long-time member of the Board, 1997 - present. He is a member of the Board of Directors of The Leatherback (Turtle) Trust, Inc., 2000 - present, and is its intellectual property counsel and a member of its audit committee.

Mr. Raymar is a member of the Bars of New Jersey,
New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern
District of New York and the District of New Jersey,
the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the
United States Supreme Court.
