Margaret Dee Hellring’s practice concentrates on matrimonial and family law matters. She was law clerk to Judge Irwin Kimmelman in the Chancery Division of the New Jersey Superior Court in 1975-76.

Ms. Hellring served as Secretary to the Supreme Court of New Jersey's District Ethics Committee for Essex County in 1986-87 and as a member of the Committee in1987-91. In addition, Ms. Hellring served on the Supreme Court of New Jersey District Fee Arbitration Committee for Essex County from 1999-2003 (as Vice-Chair for 2001-02 and as Chair for 2002-03).

Ms. Hellring is a member of the Bars of New Jersey, New York, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Supreme Court.
